Marina di Massa is one of the most important seaside resorts on the north Tuscan coast, and home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Versilia region. In the summer, the hotels and other campsites are crowded, and the beaches even more so. It is not necessarily very pleasant to come and swim there, because, in addition to the summer crowds, the majority of the beaches are private, and therefore paying (as often in Italy)...
