A charming little medieval village in the province of La Spezia, Tellaro is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. And it is most certainly its small size and the fact that it literally overlooks the sea that make it so attractive. Its pretty little fortified church (Chiesa di San Giorgio) with its pink facade is simply worth a visit, and for good reason! At the level of the rocks, it overlooks the sea: feet in the water!
