The little temple of Ain Hourché is certainly one of the best preserved in the region (only the roof). For example, the entire west side of the monument is fully preserved. Almost unique in Lebanon! His pediment has a Représentation representation. In front of the pronaos, a Greek inscription on a broken block in two allows to date the temple of the second century of our age (114-115). The south wall has a small slit that had to filter the rays of the sun. One of the walls is also a relief of a miniature temple. Around the site, remains of dwellings and remnants of sarcophagi. Climbing up to the temple is an excellent excuse for a moment in nature and a pleasant walk. From the temple, the panorama is splendid. This site, which was excavated and renovated in 1938-39, can delight lovers of old stones from Roman times.
