Hohoe is located about 60 km north of Amedzofe. It is an important agricultural center, especially for cocoa. The town is the ideal starting point to reach the Wli waterfalls (take a shared cab to get there), further east. Once the commercial activity stops in the late afternoon, Hohoe seems to slowly fade away. However, there are plenty of places to meet and chat with the locals. The bus station is located at the exit of the city, on the road to Accra. It is commonly called Lorry Station. Only the tro-tro ventures here.
