40 km from Lomé, on the road to Kpalimé, in the middle of the countryside, Badja has a beautiful rural lodge as well as a pleasant farm, La Fleur des Champs, which offers picnics on Sundays. In this locality of about 20,000 inhabitants, agriculture and livestock are the main activities. Corn, cassava, beans, cabbage, pineapples, among other grains, fruits and vegetables are grown. If you are there during the vacations or traditional celebrations, you may be able to attend a ceremony of the Asafos, the blue warriors of the Avé prefecture, whose main function is to protect the inhabitants from attacks.
