Located north of the Braşov depression, the town (population 50,000) was first mentioned in 1332. It was here that the first Sicilian institutions were established. Three quarters of its population are of Hungarian origin, which translates into bilingual signage and a vibrant Magyar culture. Here you can admire the achievements of architect Károly Kós (1883-1977).
