Ilhabela, also called "São Sebastião Island", is one of the largest in the country (348 km²). The Tupinambas who once lived there seemed to appreciate the benefits of the climate. A preserved paradise of Atlantic forest, Ilhabela is one of the main tourist attractions of the state, for resting or for ecological tourism. Postcard beaches, trails through the jungle, beautiful waterfalls and, in summer, thousands of Paulistas.A paradise for sailing and diving, the local cachaça is excellent. It allows to better pass high notes! The beauty of the site, the proximity of Sampa are paid for here at a high price.
