This beautiful 4 kilometer long beach is part of the 100 kilometer long coastline of the municipality of São Sebastião. The white sandy beaches, good waves (or at times also with calm waters) and a good infrastructure of hostels and restaurants have turned Maresias into one of the most popular places in the state of São Paulo. During the day, music and entertainment are always present, and surfers are also in the area, as Maresias is one of the most famous spots in the country. In the evening, young people meet there, bars and restaurants proposing live music with groups and DJs are numerous.
