About a dozen kilometers from Singaraja, on the main road, you will find the small town of Kubutambahan, mainly known for being the place where a series of temples with amazing sculptures begin. Very easy to reach, people come here mainly to discover the famous Pura Maduwe Karang temple - which is considered as one of the main temples of the island due to its size. We advise you to take a guided tour if you can and if you have time, it is there that you will learn the most! The city itself does not deserve to be seen too much but it is an interesting detour
