At the end of a panoramic descent, you will discover this locality of nearly 800 inhabitants nestled between river, river and mountain. This village is particularly renowned for its Le Massif ski resort. It is also the starting point of the Caps de Charlevoix trail and the Gabrielle-Roy trails. Claude Bouchard was the first settler to come and settle here in 1675; it is the oldest settlement in Charlevoix. This coastal village has long housed a shipyard for the construction of schooners and a dry dock. To see: the Maillard Chapel and its art exhibitions, the Grande-Pointe Chapel and the Domaine à Liguori.
