A few kilometers from Villamayor stands Los Arcos, an old medieval village. Entering through the Puerta de Castilla, built as a triumphal arch in the 17th century, you will notice that it bears the coat of arms of Felipe V. This entrance leads to the church of Santa Maria. This church, originally Romanesque, has an impressive mix of architectural styles due to its many additions. You can visit its flamboyant Gothic cloister, with its beautiful arches, and stroll along Calle Mayor, which still has some emblazoned houses.
