Aristi is a charming village near the Voidomatis river and its fertile valley which crosses the Vikos ravine. The small square in the centre of the village is relatively lively thanks to the two café terraces that occupy it. In the evening, it is not unusual to attend an open-air concert. Aristi is the gateway to the Vikos Aoos National Park (12,600 ha), which was opened in 1973. Here you can have the chance to meet bears, wolves, vultures and other protected species. Leaving Aristi, we reach Micro Papingo after 11 km and Megalo Papingo after 2 km. On the way, 3 km from Aristi, a small river with translucent waters forms a natural pool suitable for swimming.
