This other beautiful village has preserved the traditional architecture of the Zagoria. This village is also located in a beautiful landscape with traditional houses, at an altitude of 955 m near the Vikos Gorge. The discovery of 140 tombs from the 9th century B.C. proved that this site is one of the oldest populated places in Epirus. Excavations have revealed a village inhabited between the 9th and the end of the 4th century BC. Vitsa is also famous for its old double-arched bridge of Missios. Leaving Vitsa, turn left at the first junction, then left again at the second junction, and then right towards Kipi.
