One of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic, accessible by ferry from Mali Lošinj. Its highest point (-100 m) places it among the lowest island formations of the Croatian archipelagos. The 4 km² clay terrain is covered by a thick layer of sand, a rare geological phenomenon in Croatia. The whiteness of the limestone rock and the fine sandy beaches attract visitors. Overcrowded in summer, it becomes a haven of peace in the off-season. You can stay on the island, for example, at the Sansegus hotel-restaurant, in the Hostel Heat bed and breakfast and in seasonal rentals.
