With a little time, you can make a detour to Fuheis, between Amman and Salt. It has some nice craft workshops, galleries and restaurants. The village was built in 1838 and has grown over time to become a town of 20,000 inhabitants. Its occupation goes back a long way, as a building dating back to the Byzantine period has been found. Today the town is 95% Christian and has five churches. It is also famous for its fruit and is home to the country's largest cement factory. Go to the old quarter, located at the bottom of the hill, called Al-Balad. This is where the bus station is located.
