Situated at an altitude of 1,000 m, this small village of La Possession nestled in a small natural cirque is the starting point for several hikes, including the Roche Vert Bouteille trail, the Dos d'Âne wall, the Grand Coin trail and the Piton Grand Bazar trail. On the surrounding ramparts, you will have a magnificent view of the village and the numerous agricultural installations. Dos d'Âne is above all the easiest access to observe the cirque of Mafate after a hike of only 10 minutes. Some rare accommodations and tables d'hôte allow you to spend a night there to make the most of it.
