2 km after Bois-Blanc, the road to Anse des Cascades is indicated on the right. It goes down for 2 km towards a small fishing port, in the middle of palm trees and at the foot of a cliff with waterfalls. An atypical and somewhat magical place. From the Anse des Cascades, there is a nice path that joins Piton-Sainte-Rose, in a good two hours. You can also go up to the Hauts de Sainte-Rose, by the D57, reputed to be one of the wettest villages in the world, with more than 12 m of water per year, and floods during cyclonic periods. The nearby forest of Mourouvin is also a beautiful example of tropical forest.
