The island's third-largest city (32,000 inhabitants), after Palma and Manacor, Inca is both agricultural and industrial, with leather garment factories and brand-name shoe factories that are well known in Spain and beyond: Yanko, Lotusse, Camper... You'll find points of sale (factory prices) on the outskirts of town. In the historic center, you'll find more brand-name stores, but also some interesting monuments, including the massive Santa Maria la Mayor church, surrounded by a few bistros with quiet terraces, and the Dominican Convent. Don't miss the Thursday morning market for local produce and crafts.
