Church nearly 2 centuries old with a 14th century work, several valuable statues and 2 beautiful altarpieces
Built on the site of an ancient church, the church of Santa Maria la Major is a massive baroque building whose construction was spread over nearly two centuries. Its sober facade, pierced by a portal without relief, is dominated by an imposing lantern tower of the 16th and 17th centuries. The interior houses a painted work from the 14th century, as well as several valuable statues, including one representing Santa Maria la Major, also from the same period. There are also two beautiful altarpieces.
