This former fishing village (population 3,000) has managed to retain its old-fashioned soul despite the development of tourism over the last few decades. Nothing to do with Port Alcúdia and its funfair atmosphere, here, at certain times of the day, you'd almost have the feeling of being on the shores of Lake Geneva. From the port or the beaches, you can admire the superb bay, and you'll find yourself thinking about exploring the two capes that open onto the sea. Hotels and restaurants here are considerably more expensive than in Port Alcúdia, but are still very affordable and offer a pleasantly tranquil setting.
