On the road to Inca, Binissalem is the home of wine and lives almost exclusively from it. Don't be fooled by what you see from the road: disdained by tourists who prefer the coastline, this charming village is worth a visit. Around its massive church stand a few plane trees under which, on Saturday mornings, bird sellers come to sell pigeons, roosters or canaries. Binissalem is also home to a few bodegas de vino (Jose Luis Ferrer in particular) where you can enjoy some tasty wine tasting. If you are here in September, don't miss the festes des vermar , a festivity that takes place every year after the harvest.
