After Hajangoua, we cross the village of Hamouro where there used to be a traditional village by the beach. It is on this same site that there are plans to create a museum of the traditional habitat. Hamouro is also one of the last villages to live essentially from fishing. Moreover, the fishermen sell their fish hanging from bamboos on the side of the road. You can go for a walk towards the beach with a beautiful view of Petite-Terre and baobabs which delimit this well protected bay. The history of the village was the subject of an eponymous novel by Salim Hatubou published by L'Harmattan.
