After the college of Koungou and the recent real estate residences, we arrive at Trévani Village and its pretty maisonnettes SIM (social housing). Trevani is located about 12 km north of Mamoudzou, the road then becomes more winding, it embraces a jagged coastline and opens on the small village of Kangani facing the mangrove, a few miles from the deep water port of Longoni. Facing it, the White Island and its small lighthouse act as a sentinel. A little further on, the hamlet of Longoni is hidden. As you continue north along the coast towards M'tsamboro, you will come across a number of interesting localities and sites.
