Here we are at the gates of the North, just outside Mamoudzou, the Jumbo Score and the Total station (very practical: automatic fuel distributor 24 hours a day) of Majicavo Lamir make the border. Majicavo means "where there is no water" in Shimahorese. From there, you can go to Majicavo Koropa, where the Koropa resort is located, with its bar-restaurant-pool, discotheque and tennis club. These two villages are not very interesting for tourists but have nice accommodations for people who want to combine setting, comfort and proximity to Mamoudzou. To be taken into account however: the traffic jams at working hours.
