In the main street of the village of Roppenheim, there is a succession of typical Alsatian half-timbered houses. You can admire them in different places, like the old tithe barn. Two cute little churches stand close to each other. In the Protestant church, built in the 16th century and dedicated to St. Michael, the bell tower pierced with loopholes recalls a turbulent past. Moreover, one could take refuge there and lock oneself inside. Since the construction of the village of the brands in the commune, one also comes there to make shopping in a hundred of stores punctuated with spaces of restoration.
