Neuvéglise, now Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère after merging with its neighbours of Oradour, Sériers and Lavastrie, finishes the Planèze plateau before plunging into the Truyère gorges. The grassy plateau gives way to hillsides that are refuges for wildlife. The bottom of the valley is flooded by the dams of Grandval, Lanau and Sarrans, kingdom of pike and pike fishing. The villages have kept their character such as Orcières, Rochegonde, Sieujac or le Mas. The town of Neuvéglise has shops and a campsite. In Lanau, you will find a swimming pool and a leisure centre where you can take a boat trip to discover the meanders of the river
