The beach is wild and beautiful, but not particularly interesting, which doesn't prevent it from being a popular excursion spot for coastal hotels. So you won't be surprised to see compact flocks of tourists disembarking here around midday on certain days. Here, horses and mules wait patiently for passengers in air-conditioned buses in the shade of the palm trees. You can jump in the saddle for a short ride to a so-called Indian cemetery, which is nothing more than a mound of earth where, despite the exhortations of the local guide, you'll have no chance of finding any pottery remains.
