Sabana de la Mar is 155 km from Santo Domingo. Nestled between the impressive mountains, Los Haïtises National Park and the Caribbean Sea, the port village is a very tranquil place, escaping the hustle and bustle of tourists. Sabana de la Mar's main livelihood is fishing, so you'll find good fish here.
