Three in one, this is what could characterize Villarodin-Bourget: two mountain slopes and a winter sports resort. Indeed the commune is defined by the village of Villarodin (chief town) at 1,200 m altitude to the left of the Arc, the village of Le Bourget, at 1,163 m altitude to the right of the Arc and the resort of La Norma. We can also mention the two high altitude hamlets (Amodon and Ogère). Finally, the commune has three churches of its own: Sainte-Marguerite for Amodon, Saint-Pierre (listed monument) for Le Bourget and Saint-Julien for Villarodin. It is also there that you will discover Fort Saint-Gobain, part of the Maginot line in the Alps.
