Col de l'SpineIn the north of the lake, close to 1 000 m above sea level, the Col Pass shows the passage between what was once the Duchy of Piedmont-Sardinia and the Kingdom of France. In the Pressés tunnel (just after exiting the head of the tunnel of Dullin), you will be able to know that his name comes from the mountain and from a relic of the Holy Spine from the Crown of Christ reported by the Lords of Montbel. The curieux will take you to the mountain road connecting Novalaise to Chambéry (D 916) to enjoy superb views of the region. The peak of the mountain of Spine lies a little above Aiguebelette-le-Lac at Mount Grèle at 1 425 m.
