Travel Guide Corbel

This small village perched at an altitude of 840 metres faces La Roche Veyrand. Situated beneath the Dent du Thimelet, it offers magnificent views of the Chartreuse, the Pas du Frou and the Guiers Vif gorges. Three rivers run through the area: the Gringalet, the Hyères and the Guiers Vif. Here, you'll find nuggets to discover, such as the 13th-century church of the chef-lieu, whose 20th-century stained-glass windows are the work of the artist Arcabas. The trails leading to the heights of Corbel await those who enjoy hiking (on foot, snowshoes...), offering views of Petit Som, Grand Som, La Ruchère and the Éparres ridges.
