Travel Guide Corbel

This small village perched at 840 m of altitude faces the Roche Veyrand. Located under the Dent du Thimelet, it offers a magnificent view of the Chartreuse, the Pas du Frou and the Guiers Vif gorges. Three rivers run through the area: the Gringalet, the Hyères and the Guiers Vif. Here, there are some nuggets to discover, such as the church of the chief town dating from the 13th century and whose 20th century stained glass windows are signed by the artist Arcabas. For those who like to hike (on foot, snowshoes...), the paths leading to the heights of Corbel are waiting for them, offering a view on the Petit Som, the Grand Som, the Ruchère or the crests of the Éparres.
