Located in the valley of Impradine-Santoire, going down from Puy Mary in the direction of Murat, it is a remarkable village of Auvergne. Nestled in the hollow of a trough valley, the village faces the rock of Laqueuille. The houses built in volcanic stone, with sculpted lintels, surround the Romanesque church of the XIIth century, classified in the Historic Monuments. On the heights of the village, accessible by a large stone staircase, it is typical of the Auvergne Romanesque style. The interior is very interesting with a magnificent wooden Christ from the 13th century. The chapel of Fortuniès and the mill of Drils are to be discovered.
