In the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park, this peaceful village welcomes you all year round. With a population of 630 inhabitants, the village is located in the upper valley of the Cère, at an altitude of 800 m, near the Plomb du Cantal, the puy Griou, and at the foot of the Elancèze and the puy Gros. Its 4,200 hectares extend between two glacial locks: the Pas de Compaing and the Pas de Cère. The listed parish church of Saint-Martin dates from the end of the 15th century.
