This small town in the Trièves enjoys some of the most sublime landscapes in the Alps. Located in the territory of the Vercors Natural Park, Chichilianne is at the foot of Mount Aiguille, the largest nature reserve in France, which remains one of those wonders of nature that one can never tire of. A mountain that is not admirable for its height (2,085 m) but for its particular tooth shape - a molar -, a summit plateau surrounded by impressive cliffs that were conquered in 1492 by Antoine de Ville - who undoubtedly invented a certain form of modern mountaineering that day. An obligatory stop on the Napoleon route.
