Clelles, a small town surrounded by forests, is located in the south-eastern tip of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, a few kilometres east of the Mont Aiguille. The town still has a medieval quarter, as well as one of the only three carillons in the Isère in its beautiful Sainte-Marie church. But the main asset of Clelles is its preserved environment and its mountain landscapes. Many hikes with a good chance of seeing a particularly abundant fauna: roe deer, stag, but also ibex and chamois on the heights.
