Passing the Grimone pass, we leave the greenery of the Haut-Diois to switch to a high mountain landscape revealing the peaks of the Dévoluy, imposing blocks of limestone culminating at more than 2,700 m. Lus is the highest village (1 024m) in the Drôme department. The site, protected from precipitation by its mountain belt, is known for its exceptional climate. Moreover, the air is incomparably pure. The valley was owned by the Abbey of Cluny in the 10th century. Today, it is a pretty family mountain resort, appreciated by lovers of outdoor activities. Climbing site, via ferrata, free Nordic area.
