It is close to the family ski resorts of Val Tamié-Les Combes and the alpine ski resort of La Sambuy (Seythenex). The village can be visited for its old houses, the fortified house of Villard with its dovecote and its neo-Gothic church from the 19th century. Its old railway line has become a section of the pleasant cycle track of Lake Annecy, leading from Annecy to Albertville along the beach of Doussard.
