Protected by 4 passes and numerous summits, a "basin" in which Poche is the highest village in the Vallée Verte: its 25 hamlets stretch from 950 to 1,600 meters in altitude. Formerly the medieval territory of the Aulps abbey, Habère-Poche and Habère-Lullin formed a single commune: Les Habères. At equal distance from Lake Geneva with Thonon-les-Bains and Annemasse, it is easy to go there for summer hiking and winter skiing in a preserved natural site and the friendliness of a village with traditional values, but which also knows how to celebrate with a magical summer festival and music.
