Corsier, a residential community in the hills above Vevey, is best known as the home of Charlie Chaplin. That's right, this is the place! Even if a statue of Charlie Chaplin looks down on you in Vevey with a rose clutched to his heart and his famous walking stick in the other hand, it was actually in Corsier that he lived with his family for the last twenty-five years of his life, at the Manoir de Ban. This beautiful residence is the subject of a museum that is not to be missed. Buses 211 and 212 stop at Corsier-Village. Alternatively, it's a half-hour's walk from Vevey.
