Vandœuvres is a small commune comprising the hamlets of Chougny, Crête and Pressy. It boasts some of the canton's most remarkable and characteristic paths and hedged farmland, particularly in the Chougny sector, with its centuries-old oak trees. Tradition has it that there is one oak tree for every inhabitant of the commune (a total of 2,400 trees). The bocage of Vandœuvres offers real green tunnels through which you can see some beautiful properties. The town hall, a former 18th-century manor house, is a rare example in the Geneva region of adobe construction under mortar, and its park, with its rustic charm, is most pleasant.
