Bordered by the River Drôme, Crest is a charming little shopping town, famous for its medieval Ttour, at 52 m the highest in Europe. To reach this emblematic tower, we climb the cobbled streets and staircases to discover an ever more beautiful panorama over the roofs of the town and the Drôme valley, and keep up our strength to finally climb the steps leading to the top of the tower. Sporty, but well worth the effort! Crest hosts two local farmers' markets, on Saturday mornings and, to a lesser extent, Tuesday mornings. In summer, there's also a medieval festival and a vocal jazz festival.
