Arnayon extends over nearly 2,000 hectares, from Gumiane to La Motte Chalancon in a peaceful and preserved environment. This village is practically the only one in the canton whose temple and chapel are still open. The scattered houses of this small village are under the protection of the mountain of Angèle, which rises to an altitude of 1,610 m. In good weather, if you find the way and ask permission to pass the owners of the land to climb to the top where you can see the Ventoux, the Rhone Valley and according to some people the Mont-Blanc and the Mediterranean. This commune, like the other communes of the Oule valley, still shelters some farmers who will open their doors to you in order to taste honey, fruit juices, goat cheese, walnuts and walnut oil... or visit the goat farm. Several cottages offer you warm accommodation.
