Between Diois and Baronnies, on the borders of the Hautes-Alpes, this out-of-the-way region displays its singularity. Administratively attached to the Diois, it is turned towards Nyons, Serres, much more than towards Die. The town centre, rich in beautiful buildings, is located at the crossroads of the Oule, Aiguebelle and Arnayon valleys in a mountainous setting. Occupied since the Neolithic period, the region has known a strong human presence during the Gallo-Roman period and throughout the Middle Ages. This isolated region is also known to have been a Protestant stronghold. This small, peaceful and charming town is developing green tourism and agrotourism
