This village in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park seems to be at the end of the world and is not lacking in charm. From afar, you can see this village perched at 750 m altitude, at the foot of its dark grey volcanic rock. A few stone houses huddle together around the church, sheltered from the wind and exposed to the sun, some dating from the 17th century. The innkeeper or the stonemason will tell you that their village has been partly rebuilt with the stones of the old castle with 365 windows, destroyed during the wars of religion. From the top of the rock, on a clear day, you can see the Alps and the Rhône valley.
