Sandrans is a peaceful village, crossed in ancient times by a Roman road. The parish is one of the oldest in the region. Beautiful Romanesque church whose apse has been listed as a historical monument. Built in local bricks, the castle was the residence of the lords of Sandrans. The keep, the farm and the turrets are original. The living quarters have been restored more recently. There are 54 fishing ponds in Sandrans. The communal fishing pond, with an area of 5 ha, offers a pleasant leisure area. A 7 km (2h) walking tour starting from the town hall to discover Sandrans and its surroundings
