Rural village located in the Ain plain which has experienced a new dynamic with the opening of the A42 and an exit, number 8, which makes it an ideal place for businesses on the axis Lyon Geneva. Château Gaillard, whose name evokes strength and power, only retains the remains of a tower of an ancient fortress built by the Sires of Coligny from 1345 to 1350, during the war between Savoy and Dauphiné. Of the glorious castle, probably built on a Roman site, only the ruin of a rounded and hollowed corner wall remains. Hiking trail and a 9.7km trail loop of easy level for beginners.
