A rural village of about 500 inhabitants, on the borders of the Ain and Saône, Arbigny is part of the Bresse et Saône community of municipalities. Between vast flooded meadows - frequented by remarkable flora and fauna whose protection has required the establishment of a natural area of ecological interest, fauna and flora - and forests surrounding its various hamlets, the town is located in the Natura 2000 area. Hiking trails to discover the meadow, woods or the washhouse of Rio which offers a nice little heritage. In the centre of the village, the Saint-Pierre church and the Maison des Pompes dedicated to the firemen.
