The village has a pretty nickname: the green island. It is wraparound by a huge dyke. Built in 1856, it reaches 3 m for nearly 2 km. Dominating the village, it opens on two entrances: the Léon Roche Gate and the Castellan door and can be the subject of a pleasant walk for the whole family. Caderousse is quite picturesque with its streets and alleys. They will guide you up to the th century joint house, the th century church Saint-Michel, which is updated in the th century, the most remarkable extension of which is the chapel of the Dukes of Ancezune (xvith). The square, decorated with a magnificent cross (xviiith), offers a splendid perspective on the whole church. The land smells like the melon, put to honour on the first weekend of July.
