We don't talk about it much, and yet some will tell you that Sorgues deserves to be known. Its monumental heritage is rich in history, as evidenced by the Château Saint-Hubert and the Pont des Arméniers listed as Historic Monuments, the Saint-Sixte church and the old town centre. P. Picasso, Braque and Queen Jeanne spent some time in the commune. Jeanne's visit left several frescoes and a building now inhabited. The hill of Vaucroze, shaped by the garrigue, overlooks the vineyards and offers an ideal terrain for hiking and mountain biking. Throughout the year, exhibitions and shows animate the small town.
